Being a mature Christian means being someone who can care for their brothers and sisters in life and cares to bear with them. Being mature in our own faith means we dare to deny ourselves and have the strength to help bear and to stand with our brothers and sisters in Christ. In today’s message, Pastor Dan will urge you to take a look at your walk with Christ…are you able to bear with your friends no matter what comes along? Are you able to be that mature Christian who bears with the burdens of friends?

When I hear good news, the first thing I’m doing is telling basically EVERYONE within a 2-mile radius of me. I’ll talk about it so much that people will get sick of me. We should have the same energy when it comes to the Gospel! In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that we are commanded to preach the Gospel everywhere. To your neighbor, coworker, or a random stranger across the world. Everyone should hear the Good News of the Gospel! Just as Paul did everything he could to share, you should as well.

When a food or drink suddenly gets really popular, your first response is probably, “I should go try it!” The only reason you want to try it is to understand why people are raving over it. In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that Jesus didn’t have to be in a full household that didn’t have much money. He CHOSE that household so that He can understand you more deeply. Whether you have a full house or not, Jesus did everything so that He can understand you, but you don’t have to fully understand Him; you CAN’T fully understand Him.

I’ve met some people who do some crazy things to see their favorite artist. I’ve seen multiple computers, tablets, and phones open on the ticket screen in hopes of getting tickets. We’ll do anything for the things we love, but what about the Gospel? In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that the Gospel truly is the most important thing to us. Paul gave up so much just to share the Gospel, and he was greatly rewarded. Sharing the Gospel is a command that shouldn’t be taken lightly. How prevalent is that command in your life?

Before I turned 21, my friends who were older than me never drank in front of me. Of course, I felt like a kid when I was around them, but I appreciated that they did that; it was the most loving thing they could’ve done for me. In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that in situations where you might be drinking alcohol, think about the pasts of those around you. Some people may have a negative history with alcohol; in that case, the best and most loving thing for you to do is to respect that and stay away from it.

As a role model myself, sometimes it’s hard for me to make decisions that impact other people. I tend to think about myself, but I now know that I should think about the people around me. In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that in the gray areas of what’s right and wrong in Christianity, think about the people around you. Would your actions make others stumble? If yes, be mindful and loving towards others, and don’t do that action. Making the decision can be hard, but it can be extremely impactful to others!

I’ll admit it, there are people who make me angry, and it makes it harder for me to treat them the same way as I would treat my friends. I want to be mean to them, but we are commanded to love one another, even when it’s hard. In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that your actions should always be guided by love. Being unloving to other Christians only makes you look bad and brings toxicity to one another. Jesus came to earth and brought love, not hostility. How will you demonstrate that today?

Procrastination tends to get the best of us sometimes. Leaving late to get somewhere might seem fine in some situations, but there are things you shouldn’t procrastinate on. In today’s message, Pastor Dan says that our lives are short, and the best way to respond to that is to be ready for when Jesus comes back. The only time it’s too late is when He is here and ready to bring us to Heaven. Your season of life may seem like there’s no room for Him, but MAKING the room makes all the difference.
