  • Ep.94 - Biblical Stewardship: Money, Purpose, and the Life of Joseph
    2026/07/24
What changes when you stop seeing yourself as the owner of your wealth, time, talents, and opportunities?

Biblical stewardship begins with one foundational truth: everything we have belongs to God. We are not owners; we are entrusted managers. That changes the question from, “How little do I need to give?” to, “How much do I need to live on so I can use the rest for God’s purposes?”

In this episode, Andrew McNair examines the life of Joseph and the lessons his story teaches us about faithful stewardship. Joseph remained diligent through betrayal, slavery, false accusations, imprisonment, and eventually extraordinary influence. Whether he was serving in Potiphar’s house, managing responsibilities in prison, or preparing an entire nation for famine, Joseph faithfully used what God placed in his hands.

    You’ll discover how stewardship:

    • Brings greater order and value to what has been entrusted to us
    • Gives peace and confidence to the people who depend on us
    • Requires faithfulness even when no one appears to be watching
    • Continues through adversity, disappointment, and unexpected detours
    • Calls us to obey God and trust Him with the final results

Your possessions, influence, relationships, abilities, and wealth are only in your hands for a season. The question is not simply what you have accumulated, but how faithfully you are using it for God’s glory and the good of others.

  • Ep.93 - Protection, Liquidity & Return
    2026/07/17
Every investment comes with a tradeoff.

You may want protection from loss, immediate access to your money, and an attractive rate of return—but no single investment can fully provide all three.

In this episode, Andrew McNair introduces the PLR framework: Protection, Liquidity, and Return. These are the three questions every investor should consider before putting money to work.

    Andrew explains:

    • Why avoiding all risk can create risks of its own
    • How inflation can quietly reduce your purchasing power
    • Why liquidity creates both flexibility and opportunity
    • When holding too much cash may work against your long-term goals
    • How the pursuit of higher returns can lead investors into costly decisions
    • Why diversification is essential when balancing protection, liquidity, and growth

You’ll also hear how fear and greed can influence investment decisions and why a wise strategy begins by understanding what you are gaining and what you are giving up.

Because the goal is not simply to earn the highest possible return. It is to steward your resources wisely, protect what you have built, and invest with clarity.

  • Ep.91 - When Philanthropy Is Wrong 3 Giving Mistakes That Miss the Heart
    2026/07/03
You can’t take it with you.

In this episode of Rich Young & Powerful, Andrew McNair explores one of the most important questions for anyone pursuing success, wealth, and legacy: how should we steward what God has entrusted to us?

Philanthropy is often seen as unquestionably good—but what if generosity can miss the point?
Andrew unpacks three situations where philanthropy can be wrong: when it becomes a last resort, when it is done to impress others, and when it is used as a way to earn favor with God. Through Scripture, practical wisdom, and a powerful reminder from the Rockefeller estate, this episode challenges us to examine not just what we give, but why we give.

If you want your life, wealth, and legacy to serve something eternal, this conversation will help you think differently about generosity, stewardship, and living to give.

  • Ep.88 - The 4 Kinds of Investments Every Wise Steward Should Understand
    2026/06/12
Before you can invest wisely, you need to understand what you’re actually investing in.

In this episode of Rich Young & Powerful, Andrew McNair breaks down the four major investment worlds: financial institutions, insurance companies, Wall Street, and real estate. Each one offers something different—but none of them offer everything.

Using the lens of protection, liquidity, and return, Andrew explains why every investment has strengths, limitations, and risks. Banks may offer safety and access, but limited growth. Insurance products may offer protection, but often require patience and time. The stock market may offer strong long-term return potential, but comes with volatility. Real estate may build wealth, but it requires work, wisdom, and careful stewardship.

This conversation is not about falling in love with one investment. It’s about learning how to think clearly, diversify wisely, and avoid being influenced by someone else’s financial agenda.
You’ll also hear biblical wisdom from Proverbs and Ecclesiastes on saving, diversification, prudence, and investing with a long-term perspective.

If you want to build wealth with wisdom—not hype—this episode will help you understand how to evaluate investments through the lens of stewardship, purpose, and legacy.

    Episode Highlights.

    • Why every investment can be understood through protection, liquidity, and return
    • The role banks and credit unions play in your financial life
    • Why emergency funds belong in safe, liquid accounts
    • What to understand before locking money into insurance-based investments
    • Why Wall Street offers return potential but requires emotional discipline
    • The truth about real estate investing that gurus often leave out
    • Biblical principles for saving, diversification, and wise investing
    • Why no investment has protection, liquidity, and return all at once
    • How to avoid falling in love with one investment world
    • Why wise stewardship requires balance, patience, and discernment

  • Ep.87 - Why You Shouldn’t Be Rich (And What to Pursue Instead)
    2026/06/08
What if the very thing you’ve been chasing… is the thing quietly pulling you away from what matters most?

In this episode of Rich Young & Powerful, Andrew McNair challenges one of the most deeply held assumptions about success: that more wealth equals more security, freedom, and fulfillment.
But what if wealth isn’t the goal?

Drawing from biblical wisdom and real-world experience as a wealth manager, Andrew unpacks why the pursuit of riches can subtly lead to pride, self-sufficiency, and misplaced identity and how a shift toward stewardship can transform not just your finances, but your purpose.

If you’ve ever wrestled with the tension between success and significance, this conversation will reframe how you think about money, legacy, and what it truly means to live well.
    What You’ll Learn:

    • Why wealth can create the illusion of control and independence
    • The hidden dangers of tying your identity to financial success
    • What Scripture actually says about being rich
    • The difference between being wealthy and being a steward
    • How generosity becomes the antidote to greed
    • Practical ways to shift from accumulation to impact

If wealth isn’t something to hold onto—but something to steward—then the question isn’t how much you have…it’s what you do with it.
