“You take out the people, the curse remains, because the Holy Spirit lives in people.”

Recorded live at a local pastors’ gathering in Davao City, this message, The Key to Acquiring Land, was shared with ministry leaders after a year of losing faithful pastors in the city.

It begins with Matthew 5:5: “Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.” The word behind “earth” means land, even soil. That detail opens up a bigger biblical picture of how God redeems places through people. In Romans 8, creation groans under the curse as it waits for the sons of God to be revealed. In Luke 19, Jesus says the stones would cry out if His disciples kept silent. In Romans 9–11, Paul shows that the root supports the branches.

The conclusion is that land isn’t redeemed by wealth, influence or technology. It’s redeemed by worshipers, and by disciples who make disciples. That gives weight to every local ministry, whether in a prison, a mountain village, the streets or a children’s class, because each one is part of the Great Commission.

The land is waiting for the sons and daughters of God to be revealed, and that includes you.
