What if the small, ordinary habits of everyday life could transform your home?

Welcome to Restoration Home, a podcast for Christian moms who desire to build peaceful, connected, faith-filled families. Hosted by Jennifer Pepito—homeschool mom of seven, and author of Habits for a Sacred Home—this show explores the life-giving rhythms that help families flourish.

Through conversations about faith, motherhood, marriage, homeschooling, family culture, and the simple practices that shape our days, Jennifer shares encouragement and wisdom for creating a home marked by connection, purpose, beauty, and love because a restored home isn’t built in a day—it is formed through small acts of faithfulness repeated over time.

Join Jennifer and inspiring guests as they explore how our habits shape our hearts, how our homes can become places of refuge, and how ordinary moments can become opportunities for growth, grace, and renewal.

  • Homeschooling Gives Your Child the Best Education with Emelie Pepito
    2026/06/24

Welcome to episode 192 with Jennifer and Emelie.

Over her 28 years of homeschooling, one of the main reasons Jennifer has seen families quit is the fear that their child will not get the education they need. While homeschooling is not for everyone, we're here today to unpack the lie that your child is guaranteed to get a better education in a more formal system.

Children want to learn. They are naturally curious, capable of information retention, and interested in the world around them. So often the formal education that we think is "safe" offers little in the way of real life skills, kills curiosity, and creates performers, not learners.

Instead, we talk about raising whole children, whose lives are shaped by their values, not their education level because education can always be acquired while values must be instilled from a young age. Practically, everything your child needs to know academically can be acuired in a 100 hours of education. Besides, when you step back from fear and look at the general education level of the American population do you really think that your child is going to receive a better education in a system that is producing a population where 1 in every 5 adults is illiterate.

This great conversation is made possible by the Peaceful Press!

Our full length Peaceful Press Elementary Bundles give your children the opportunity to learn practical skills, read beautiful literature, and engage in a living history and applicable science. • The Not So Secret Sauce of a Good Marriage with Laura Dugger
    2026/06/16

*Warning*: This episode is all about sex and contains some references to traumatic experiences. Listener discretion advised.

Welcome to episode 191 with Jennifer Pepito and Laura Dugger.

Laura is the host of the Savvy Sauce Podcast and a Christian Sex therapist. This episode is not a therapy session, instead, it looks more broadly at what the Bible says about sex, the physical benefits, the gift of intimacy, and why it's supposed to be a blessing to both husband and wife.

While this episode deals with a topic a little off the wall for the Restoration Home, it's still a incredibly important one, and we hope you are inspired and encouraged.
