Chelsie was not trying to become an emergency manager. She was looking for a stable job when she accepted an evening administrative position at her local hospital. One paramedic ride-along later on a helicopter - changed everything for her!
That one experience launched a career spanning more than two decades in emergency medical services, hospital operations, emergency preparedness, and leadership. Along the way, she became the EMS Hospital Liaison during one of the most challenging periods in modern healthcare ... the COVID...19 pandemic ... and today serves as the Manager of Emergency Preparedness for Reading Hospital.
