  • Once Bitten (40th anniversary)
    2025/12/18
An '80s campy comedy is just what we need in this crazy world, so it's time to rewind to 1985 again! Mark welcomes Brian C. Tyler on the show to go to seedy Hollywood where horny teen boys go to meet older ladies and a 400 year old "woman vampire." They celebrate the 40th anniversary of the very fun movie - and great theme song - Once Bitten, which was Jim Carrey's feature film debut, and a star was born! This movie has an epic dance number, gay jokes, butts, Megan Mullally, and lots of buttons. Also, shout-out to similar 1985 hits Fright Night, Teen Wolf, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2, plus the men of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

You're not totally buggin' - Clueless is now 30 years old! To celebrate, Mark welcomes his homies Melissa Ward and Jason Kashiwagi back on the show to take a trip down memory freeway. This trendsetting, aspirational Amy Heckerling classic only gets better with age, but they wonder if the romantic ending is actually pretty weird and ponder what direction the upcoming TV show continuation could go in. Plus, Mark shares what happens in his Clueless 2 script that he wrote in elementary school, the trio decides if Paul Rudd or Jeremy Sisto was cuter, and the other 1995 teen movie Kids (less virgins in that one) gets a shout-out.
