EPISODE DESCRIPTION
What if the part of you you've spent your whole life trying to hide is actually the part that needs your love the most?
In this episode, I'm exploring something that many high achievers struggle with: having needs.
For years, I believed that asking for help made me weak, that needing support made me a burden, and that being "the strong one" meant handling everything on my own. That belief led me to minimize my own needs, overextend myself, and quietly teach the people around me not to show up for me.
Everything changed after one of the hardest seasons of my life when I had no choice but to let myself be supported. What I discovered wasn't weakness - it was connection, healing, and a completely new understanding of what it means to be human.
Together, we'll unpack hyper-independence, why we neglect our own needs, and how to begin rebuilding self-trust through simple daily practices. I'll also share one powerful communication tool that has transformed my relationships and helped me ask for support without shame.
If you've spent your life taking care of everyone else, this episode is your invitation to remember that your needs matter, too.

THE PARTING GIFT
Nourished Life Coaching Companion Deck Prompt
"What's one thing you'd like to STOP doing to reclaim your time?"
Reflect on what you've been carrying alone. Where could you release, delegate, or ask for support so you can create more space for yourself?
THIS WEEK, BUY YOURSELF FLOWERS BY...
Pausing once a day to ask yourself, "What do I need right now?" Then honor that answer - even if it's something as simple as drinking water, asking for help, taking a break, or allowing someone else to care for you.
