Slavery, polygamy, warfare, and the treatment of women—how do we make sense of the Bible’s most difficult passages? Joined by Dr. Smith, we tackle these challenging texts and consider whether there’s a difference between God permitting something and approving it.

How do we engage these passages honestly without feeling like we need to apologize for God? And does the Gospel really speak even to these difficult texts? Stick around to the end to be encouraged in who your God is!

First, be sure to listen to Ep. 159 - God of the Old & New Testaments as a helpful framework for this conversation!

We talk about modern farming, stewardship, and regenerative agriculture. We explore what it means to be good stewards of God’s earth, how Christians should think about the way we use and care for creation, and and what a biblical worldview has to say about farming and food.
