This week Ranch Cast welcomes the folks from the Carmel Youth Center. Executive Director Kelly Schmidt and Teen Program Coordinator Katie Bruzzone join our own Tiffany Harbrecht and student cohost Javier.

We chat about The Center’s history, what they offer, plus their tri-tip box lunch fundraiser coming up on Saturday October 10 at Rancho.

A marvelous organization which, like Rancho Cielo, goes the extra mile for young people.

Terrific first show of the academic year talking about the After School Program.

Joining me are student cohosts Jose Mendoza and Javier, Rancho’s Director of Student Services Dawn Allen along with John Muir Charter Schools Deputy Director Mirel Mejia and Head of Marketing Tiffany Harbrecht for a spirited discussion on what Rancho Cielo means to staff and young people.

Really a wonderful program.

This week we welcome “Showbiz” morning legend from KDON. What a terrific fellow. Our student cohosts Reuben and Jose had a great time chatting music and radio with him.

Our own Tiffany Harbrecht reminisced about her days in the media and yours truly shared some old broadcast stories. Big thank you to Joe DeRuosi and Terry Poole for putting this interview together.

And of course, a huge thank you to “Showbiz” for taking the time to share his wisdom and his story with our students.
