When Sage Vasistha refuses to part with Shabala, Vishvamitra attempts to take her by force. Shabala escapes and returns to her master, asking why she has been abandoned.

What follows reveals a power Vishvamitra never expected.

At Vasistha’s command, Shabala brings forth forces capable of confronting the king’s army. Vishvamitra responds with his royal strength, but the battle leads him toward a profound realization — there exists a power greater than military might and royal authority: the power of Brahmabala.

This episode follows the Valmiki Ramayana, Bala Kanda, Critical Edition 1.53.1–1.54.10.
