概要
A white rabbit with a brown patch and a laminated insulin card was left at the base of a utility pole on July 9, 2019 - water bottle full, fresh hay, instructions for 7AM and 7PM insulin. Whoever left Mochi clearly wanted her found and cared for, but the person who built their life around keeping her alive had vanished; where did Craig Boyd go?
In this episode, we follow the timeline and evidence from the last confirmed message Craig sent to his sister to the discovery on Sable Hollow Road, mapping his work routes, unexplained stops, and the recovered digital traces that raise more questions than answers. Why was Craig making repeated, unlogged stops at Sable Hollow, and who else was there with him?
Person: Craig Boyd
Age: 32
Date first found evidence: March-June 2019 (six unlogged stops)
Date of discovery at pole: July 9, 2019 at 6:48 AM
Pet: Mochi (diabetic rabbit; insulin 7AM and 7PM)
- Craig worked five years as a field technician for Kincaid County Water Quality Monitoring and never missed a log submission.
- On July 7, 2019 at 8:15 PM Craig texted his sister “all good, she ate well tonight,” the last confirmed communication.
- Curtis Carter, a lineman with eleven years at Kincaid Rural Electric, found Mochi at 6:48 AM on July 9, 2019 on Sable Hollow Road.
- Between March and June 2019 Craig’s county truck recorded six stops at the Sable Hollow Road turnoff, each lasting 20-40 minutes.
- Russell Lawson’s inspection logs place him on Sable Hollow Road on those same six dates, though neither man’s paperwork mentions the other.
