SEASON 5, EPISODE 1

Welcome to Backstage with Randy Phillips - a lighthearted dialogue meant to inspire every heart and home to live a life of purpose. Join Randy Phillips for a fascinating conversation with Rabbi Jason Sobel, Messianic rabbi, author, founder of Fusion Global, and spiritual advisor to The Chosen. Rabbi Jason shares how he helps bring the Jewish context of Jesus to life on screen, the supernatural encounter that led him to believe in Jesus as the Messiah, and why understanding the connection between the Old and New Testaments can transform the way we read Scripture. From the story of Joseph and the Jewish roots of the Last Supper to practical ways Christians can build meaningful conversations with Jewish friends, Rabbi Jason offers a fresh look at the life and ministry of Jesus. He also shares about writing with Kathie Lee Gifford before the conversation turns to antisemitism, Israel, Gaza, and his perspective on the spiritual and cultural forces shaping the conflict today.
