Launching the 21st Century revival of Doctor Who and energising a whole new generation of soon-to-be avid fans, there's no doubt that Rose has earned its place in Doctor Who's Hall of Iconic Stories. Arguably, no other story in Doctor Who's history - since 1963's An Unearthly Child perhaps - has had to prove itself and carry so much.

Undoubtedly, in 2005, Rose was a runaway success!

So we thought we'd watch it again!

Now, some 21 years later, we ask how well Rose stands up to the test of time and how did it manage to set the template for a faster-paced series that welcomed older Doctor Who fans as much as it introduced new viewers to the wonders of our favourite show!
