In Matthew 4 we get an encouragement from Jesus when the Spirit takes Him to the wilderness after his baptism. After this spiritual emotional moment Jesus goes to the place of refinement, the place of testing, the place of preparing. The Wilderness. What can we learn about Jesus and ourselves from this text.

What stops people from getting baptized? We celebrated three baptisms this Sunday and then asked the question "what is stopping you from being baptized?"

Do we take time to behold Jesus? Pilot made a declaritive statement "Behold the Man!" the crowd didn't respond well. How do we respond when we are invited to behold Jesus?

Jesus extends this invitation to all his disciples, "Follow Me." How have you answered this invitation? How do we do this daily?

Being a prophet means you are counter cultural. Being A prophet means that you are already in conversation with God.
