  • Time Management To Get More Out Of Time, Not To Master Time Itself!
    2025/10/21

One of the most stressful aspects of time management, for a lot of people, is that there is a hyper-fixation on getting the most out of every minute of every hour. We are taking time to figure out how to optimize our use of time, rather than taking time to figure out how to IMPROVE how we are currently using our time. The distinction is that by getting better use of your time, rather than trying to squeeze every bit of use of time that you can, one can do more within a day or a week, without constantly being on edge about meeting deadlines that are too strict or unrealistic.

The tricky thing about time management is that you want to gain a better understanding of how to use your time better, while not obsessing over every little thing, as well as learning what you truly need to be using your time for, depending on the circumstances. Join me as I have a discussion that takes you through time...sort of!

  • Finding Motivation To Do Things When Conditions Aren’t Ideal...
    2025/10/14

Motivation comes and goes. The ebb and flow of life basically guarantees that there is change and change has a huge impact on how we see things and how motivated we are in a given moment. There are times when we feel stuck...we feel like change will not come, especially when we are dealing with conditions that aren’t ideal. If you have a master’s degree, for example, but you are not working in your field or you are in the field, but you don’t like it as much as you thought you would, a common question is: ‘How do I adjust to this situation?’

Maybe you go into another field, or maybe you connect with people who can get you to where you need to be, but in the moment, figuring out WHY we feel the way we do can help us understand what we want out of life, as well as help us form plans to get to the next steps, as well as gain motivation along the way. This episode explores what we can do or consider when looking to find motivation!

  • How Gaming, Anime, And Nekocon Lead To Community Service!
    2025/10/07

While I used to do volunteer work during my free time through events listed on Eventbrite and the like, a curiosity for cosplay, based on things I’ve seen in gaming and online anime communities, lead me to go my first even convention experience! A chance encounter at Nekocon in 2019 helped give me the push to do more community service, discovering things like “Charity Miles” in 2020, and 757 Uplifters eventually being born in 2021! This episode explores how gaming and anime, like other things, can help bring people together!

  • What’s Right With The World Today: Episode 2
    2025/09/30

There is so much focus on what’s wrong, that there needs to be discussion about what’s right! In my quest to find some good news to talk about, searching Google, Facebook, Reddit, and other spaces, I stumbled upon some good news that I will discuss in this episode. This episode discusses an uplifting post centered around comedian Josh Johnson, as well as Davyon Johnson, a reddit post about a man who has been battling depression, and lastly, smilebaiting, which is the opposite of ragebaiting...with ragebaiting being things done to get under people’s skin or make them upset. Smilebaiting is, in my opinion, so much better! Check out the links below:

  • Things We Can Do In Place Of Doomscrolling!
    2025/09/23

This episode is a supplemental episode, meaning that it is an episode made to pivot into more discussion about humans doing wonderful things that speak to the human potential to “be the change” in positive (as well as empowering) ways. It speaks on some of what I’ve been up to as of late while I have been swamped with projects and fitness and other things, with some of those things being exactly what led me to my inspiration for this episode! This episode has me feeling good about creating a series of episodes about the things going right with the world.

  • Avoidance: One Of The Biggest Contributors To Toxic Workplaces!
    2025/09/16

Imagine you are dealing with a problem in your personal life and you do not want to confront the problem head-on, so you delay and run away from the issue. Left alone, it gets worse and worse and finally, it snowballs out of control...we may ask ourselves how things turned out the way they did, when we actively took steps to not handle serious conversation or we didn’t want to deal with a delicate situation, or we may have even ignored facts or critical thinking because it may have been at odds with whatever bias we may have.

Whatever the problem may be, know that doing the same thing in a work environment also has real, negative consequences, and if we avoid dealing with known problems, we then have to deal with other problems in ways that are both seen and unseen. Leaders are in a good position to actually handle problems, because they can set guidelines, expectations, and even improve employee morale and build positive company culture...but doing and not doing are choices. This episode discusses how problematic avoidance in the workplace can be!

Excellence means different things to different people...even though excellence has a general dictionary definition behind it, people see excellence differently, with some even seeing it as perfection, rather than simply excellence.
