Pastor Carlos Hijar | QUIET gODS Series

When we trust our own judgment over God's authority, we subtly crown ourselves as gods by determining what is right and hiding our flaws behind self-made coverings.

Real freedom begins when we stop managing our image and allow the searching truth of God's Word to mirror who we truly are. By daily laying down our pride through honest confession and surrender, we exchange self-sovereignty for the grace and forgiveness found in Jesus Christ.
