  • Bamboozled by My Own Anxiety: The Tenderness of Stepping into a New Identity
    2025/10/23

In this little riff, I attempt to unpack what it really means to “step into a new identity”... beyond the pinterest quotes and pop spiritual manifestation fluff.

From the bamboozlement of future tripping, realizing how much mental energy goes into trying to get it right or plan for the future, to the tenderness of trusting yourself when the path is unknown — we’re pulling on threads of self-trust, perfectionism, and the nervous system’s craving for safety in this one!

    Expect musings on:

    • Why “I’m working on it” language keeps you STUCK in limbo land
    • The MYTH of needing clarity before taking action
    • What straddling two identities actually feels like
    • The quiet courage of trusting the breadcrumbs that energize and inspire

If you’re navigating your own identity shift (in motherhood, business, or life - hello late identified neurodivergence LOL) , let's connect!!

As always, I'd love to hear what stirs or lands for you in this conversation. Send me an unscripted voice note on IG (@nicolepasveer) and let me know!

  • Rewilding Your Nervous System (92)
    2025/10/03

What if your nervous system isn’t something to fix or “capacity build”?

What if the most radical practice isn’t doing more, but simply noticing?

And what if the mainstream understanding of the nervous system is just whitewashed wellness hacks — colonized language for ancient ancestral wisdom?

In this episode, I riff on those questions and share:

🌿 The hidden ways our nervous systems keep us tangled in hustle, chaos, and productivity loops

🌿 How to meet those patterns neutrally as data instead of flaws

🌿 Why saying “how interesting” and “this belongs” can shift everything

🌿 The truth that our bodies already know this work, long before science caught up

This isn’t about mindset tricks, productivity hacks, or another self-improvement project. It’s about rewilding, remembering, and coming back into relationship with your innate wisdom.

    Big love + exhale

  • Lazy Marketing + Dissolving Shame: Escaping the "If-Then" Trap (IG LIVE Sept 29/25)
    2025/10/01

I went live this week on Instagram planning to “market” my new group… and instead rambled about lazy launches, shame spirals, motherhood, if-then thinking, and why I’m DONE overcomplicating every f*ckin thinggggg!

This episode is extra messy and unscripted, but maybe that’s the medicine?

    I touch on the following:

    • Why the “if you just do this, then you’ll get that” narrative is so sneaky (and quite frankly, pure bullsh*t)
    • How shame spirals keep us stuck in freeze (and what naming them does)
    • My reframe on marketing and why I’m calling this launch “lazy”
    • The truth about motherhood, identity, and seasons where everything feels heavy
    • What I’m experimenting with instead of forcing strategy

At the end, I share about Exhale — my 6-week support group + practice lab for heavy-hearted humans, mothers, creatives + visionaries carrying a dream of a different world… while desiring space, nuance, and nervous system nourishment to keep holding it.

Exhale is a space where we slow down, name our real desires, and anchor into rhythms that actually let you keep going.

  • MUSINGS + MAGICK: ADHD Diagnosis Dilemmas and New Seasons of Motherhood (SEPTEMBER FULL MOON WITH LAUREN AND NICOLE)
    2025/09/10

Under September’s full moon, we sit in the messy middle of it all—thresholds, tenderness, and the very human urge to know what’s on the other side. In this episode, Lauren shares the mixed cocktail of grief and excitement as her daughter starts preschool and a whole new chapter of life and motherhood (and schedule) opens up. Nicole reflects on the one-year mark of her child’s autism diagnosis and what softened in their family because of language, support, and self-compassion.

We also name the messy, nuanced terrain of exploring neurodivergence in adulthood as Lauren moves toward a formal ADHD assessment—the freedom, the grief, and the relief of finally having words for what’s been true all along.

This episode is a love letter to liminality and a reminder that rhythm beats routine, devotion beats perfection, and identity is allowed to be in flux. If you’re carrying a lot, if you’re crossing a portal you can’t yet see through, or if you just need permission to cry, rest, and still call it forward motion—this one’s for you.

    You’ll hear us talk about:

    • Thresholds and rites of passage for mothers and families
    • Why language (matrescence, autism, ADHD) can create compassion, not boxes
    • Time freedom, ambition, and not overloading a new season
    • Rhythm over routine, devotion over perfection
    • Friendship, grief, and letting the full spectrum be welcome

Thanks so much for hanging out with us, if you enjoy these episodes please share them with a friend, leave a review wherever you’re listening from, and come on over to instagram to continue the conversation.

  • The Trees Were Laughing at Me: Lessons from the Forest About Consistency as a Colonized Fantasy (89)
    2025/09/05

Today’s quickie episode is basically me getting roasted by the trees on my afternoon walk. The forest had a lot to say about us “silly humans” and our obsession with consistency, predictability, and control, and let’s just say, the trees aren’t wrong.

It’s colonized bullsh*t. And honestly? We deserve to be laughed at, because we’re over here over-complicating and over-efforting all damn day long.

This one is equal parts truth bomb, reflection, and reminder that comparison and linear growth are manmade illusions. Nature’s calling us back to cyclical wisdom... come listen in.

  • Creating Anyway: Even When You're Allergic to Structure + Sensitive to Rejection (88)
    2025/08/07

I’m sharing what it actually feels like to be in a creative season where nothing feels linear, my nervous system is sensitive, and I keep bumping up against the part of me that wants to throw in the towel.

If you’re someone who’s also sensitive, quietly rebellious, allergic to rigid structure, or just plain tired of pretending the creative process is clean, consistent, and “high vibe” all the time, then this one's a love letter for you.

    I talk about:

    • Coming out of a burnout wave and rebuilding trust with my own rhythm
    • The energy rollercoaster of the past month and what’s helped regulate me
    • The magic of co-regulating with people I trust and how momentum can be contagious
    • Navigating rejection sensitivity and the fear that I’m “too much” or “too inconsistent” to be understood
    • Why the mess almost always comes before the clarity
    • My creative process as a neurodivergent mama who craves structure but also resists it deeply
    • Letting ideas crumble and reconfigure, like building block towers with my toddler
    • Learning not to run someone else’s race, and instead trusting my pace, even when it’s slow or weird or different
    • Why I believe missed shots in business don’t mean anything about ME

If you’re in a tender season, stuck in the swirl of too many ideas, grieving a past offer that didn’t land, or questioning your pace, I hope this episode feels like a soft exhale.

You’re not behind. You’re just building something honest that probably looks more like web, instead of a ladder!
