In this episode of R&B N’ Chill, Ty takes a deep dive into Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic, an album that brought the sounds, style, and energy of classic R&B and funk into the modern era.

Released in 2016, 24K Magic feels like a celebration of the music that came before it while still sounding completely like Bruno Mars. From the funky bounce of the title track and the swagger of “Chunky” to the smooth slow-jam energy of “Versace on the Floor” and the New Jack Swing-inspired feel of “Finesse,” the album pulls from different eras of Black music while putting Bruno’s own spin on them.

This episode is all about the music, the nostalgia, the vibes, and the magic of 24K Magic. 🎶✨
