    2025/08/06

Elizabeth Speck, Founder of MindOpen Learning Strategies, which helps organizations and their leaders break down barriers to achieving social justice goals, will soon be listening to New Yorkers’ ideas on the city’s racial equity priorities. MindOpen’s focus groups will be conducted against the backdrop of the state’s examination of the history of enslaved persons in New York and the potential need for reparations. New York joins California, Illinois, and dozens of localities seeking to create reparations programs for its citizens.
