As Palestinians are killed seeking food supplies and Jews in the U.S. are targeted with firebomb attacks, Jewish leaders in the U.S. are tasked with balancing the need to help protect their congregations without hiding in fear, while pushing back against the belief of some that Jews everywhere should be held responsibile for the choices of the Israeli government. Tanya D. Davis talks with Andy Gordon, Rabbi of Bolton Street Synagogue, a politically-active Reform congregation, about his efforts to effect change in Israel. The conversation addresses the need for a two-state solution among a broader definition of Zionism that maintains as a requirement security for an autonomous Jewish state.

Speck speaks with Quips & Clips on the continued benefits of efforts at inclusion in a society in which she says “we have all been racialized.”

She uses her personal journey, from education in a legally integrated school in Washington, D.C.'s Virginia suburbs to assisting New York City firefighters in learning more about perspectives they never considered, to explore the erroneous belief that diversity, equity and inclusion is about favoring people of color. Speck responds to the hostility of those in opposition to DEI in the workplace and answers the often-posed question of "What's in it for me?"
