Written and directed by Wyllis Cooper, this supernatural newsroom tale follows news photographer Rocco, played by Ernest Chappell. Used to people crowding into his shots for a chance to appear in print, Rocco encounters a particularly persistent “lens louse”—one whose appearances create an unsettling problem when the film is developed. Originally heard on the Mutual Broadcasting System, the episode also features Murray Forbes and J. Pat O’Malley.
Quiet, Please presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
