  • Live Every Day Like It Is Your Last - Paul Smith, Property Investor and Philanthropist
    2025/04/21

On this episode, we were incredibly fortunate to be joined by Paul Smith.

Paul is a highly successful multi-million pound property investor and mentor, with a passion for helping others to thrive with Paul and his wife, Aniko, founding Touchstone Education.

Paul's journey is incredible, from leaving home at 17 with just £170 in his pocket, to being a muti millionaire living in Monaco and now aiming to become a billionaire in five years time, but the reasons for this are incredibly altruistic.

Paul is highly committed to philanthropy and giving, and has recently joined John Cauldwell's Life Changer's Circle.

The reasons Paul wants to be a billionaire is so that he can join the Giving Pledge and give at least half back to good causes and charities.

This was such an incredibly insightful chat touching on :

    • Being reminded of mortality at such a young age
    • Never regret growing old, as it is a privilege denied to far too many
    • Giving back
    • The difference between rich and wealthy
    • Values
    • Living each day like it is your last

Fergus is such a highly inspiring person and his journey is nothing short of miraculous.

Fergus was a former rugby player but in 2018 had a tragic accident which left him paralysed from the belly button down.

He was told he would never walk again.

What Fergus has subsequently achieved is incredible.

Fergus walked out of hospital on his own two feet, he then walked 206km across Ireland and back into the hospital on the first anniversary of his accident, and has also attempted to row the Atlantic
