The LORD of Hosts is not just another name that exalts God, it is a name that represents His complete authority. It was repeatedly stated to a disobedient nation and is the name that we today should recognize when we cry out for help.

Who we are following is who we will become. This is not hard to understand, but what is difficult is to truly discern who we are following. Who are the people or organizations that are truly agents of change in our life

This study of God’s name comes striaght from a pivitol time in Israel’s escape from Egypt. They learned in battle that the Lord can be trusted and we must seek His help. As we study, we too will be confronted with the truth that we need God’s help and should call out to Him.

This familiar call for Christians to love one another is bound in the Mosaic Law. It is even summarized elsewhere by Christ as the second greatest command. Yet, Jesus takes it even further here, not just to love your neighbor, but to love even your enemies.

Jehovah-Jireh is a compound name for God. This incredible name reveals much more than we first realize. He Sees Us, but it isn't just that He observes and knows what is going on, but we will understand that its deeper meaning extends to what He accomplishes for us.
