Message from Hebrews on Spiritual Maturity

Walking with Jesus changes us. It transformed the disciples' lives in three short years, forming them into apostles who turned the world upside down. The question you need to ask is, How is walking with Jesus changing you?

In this conclusion of the series on 2 Thessalonians, we find encouragement and challenge from Paul. We are challenged to be faithful to our Faithful Lord. In being faithful, we must be doers of the Word, as well as challenge the idle to be doers. Be challenged and encouraged by the Word of the Lord.

In this incredible passage, Jesus exposes the deadness of religion and also demonstrates His authority and power to free people from the perils of sin and this world. Be challenged to examine your own life and the distracting markers of religion that you also place in your own path and find freedom in Christ to reach the souls of those around you with the power of the Gospel, rather than the demand of dead religion.

God freely offers us salvation. His salvation extends far beyond our current life and transforms us eternally. Believers must remember the full impact of salvation on our lives. The truth of salvation is what Paul encourages the Thessalonians to recall as they resist false teaching and persecution.
