My beautiful warrior friend Mary Ann shares of her battle with Genetic BRCA2 Positive. How Covid kept her from getting necessary scans. The heartbeat behind this page is YOU! I believe that there is POWER in your story! Our stories and sharing it allows us to feel heard in a voiceless system and helps us to heal! But even more than that It will help others who are diagnosed with breast cancer search their diagnosis and instead of countless medical pages coming up, Survivor stories will pull up too! Hearing another warrior's story and how they fought will help them have hope, encouragement to be their own advocate, know they are not alone, and equip them before they enter the battle field that is breast cancer!
I will be interviewing and filming Warriors and posting the videos here and on other platforms. I will also be sharing health tips and advice. I will be interviewing others in the medical fields and asking advice from their perspectives.

Marcella Powell is Survivor of Her2 positive Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and she shares her story!! She is a native of Pensacola, Florida. She has founded Motivate The Youth, Inc., WinniesBox, and Author of Beyond The Smile, published in 2020. She is Co-Authoring two book to be released in the 2025 year! Hosting several Breast Cancer fundraisers like I Cancervive the year in Atlanta Ga. Etc. She is unstoppable and Cancer can't keep her down!!

Having overcome childhood trauma, Marcella is a renowned community activist who dedicated her early adult years to serving her community and mentoring. She is a Breast Cancer Survivor who intends to share her healing message worldwide. This is MY story. I have shared many warrior stories on here and Youtube, and I filmed myself one day. It was kinda like therapy. I said some thing that surprised me! The fight was real and it was hard! After facing so many obstacles from diagnosis to treatment it left me wondering how our medical system could be this broken. So I started asking God how I could help....and Power Over Pink was born. It has been so healing for me to meet so many incredible warriors of Breast Cancer! Each has a unique story to tell that inspires Hope and healing in themselves and others! It's different when It's My story. I hope you enjoy it and it inspires you to keep fighting and as always, be your own advocate! Speak UP!

At just 36 years old Heather found out she had Breast Cancer. She just finished nursing her daughter and found a lump. She listened to her intuition and had it checked out only to find out it was Breast Cancer. With no genetic family history it never crossed her mind that she could have to face this battle. Heather is a Nurse Practitioner and she knows this medical field well. Heather decided to seek treatment at M.D. Anderson and radiation locally. Now because of her facing this battle she looks at life with a wonderful perspective that life is worth celebrating! You will be so inspired to hear her story!
