With massive changes to organized play, cuts to tournament prize support, and the elimination of sponsored streamers, maybe it's time to rethink what Magic is and who it's for. With the vast majority of players being casual, we ponder if Magic is fundamentally a party game with a minor competitive element, and if this paradigm would better serve all players, casual and competitive alike.
