Nemesis (1992) synopsis: “Alex, a burned out LA cyborg cop, is forced by commissioner Farnsworth to find his former cyborg partner and lover Jared who's about to deliver sensitive data to cyborg terrorists who wish to wage war against humans. Is he being played?”

Starring: Olivier Gruner, Tim Thomerson, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, and Thom Mathews
Director: Albert Pyun

This week on Podcasting After Dark, Zak and Corey review Albert Pyun’s Nemesis! If you feel like you’re having déjà vu, you’re not! We did cover Nemesis with our Canadian bros on Action, Action but unfortunately that episode is no longer available (real ones can find it buried on our Patreon feed). Thankfully it’s Cam Sully to the rescue with his Patreon pick!

Nemesis is a fun early-90s action movie inspired by the growing popularity of Hong Kong cinema and cyberpunk lore. It’s not perfect but it really brings a lot of cool ideas to the table , and the boys give Albert Pyun props for that!

A huge THANK YOU to Cam for selecting Nemesis for us to review via our highest Patreon tier!
