Chrissy Trapper is twenty-two, chronically bored, and very good at running Video City. Most nights are spent dealing with strange customers, arguing with inanimate objects, eating Burger Bunker with the clerk next door, and irritating the self-appointed executive working a few storefronts away. Then one of her most predictable regular customers suddenly rents something different: a battered old horror movie called The Phantom of Red Hollow. And the tape does something a tape should not be able to do.
