Planet Of Sound: In Conversation featuring special guest Mark Davyd, CEO of the Music Venue Trust. Live music is a vital part of our culture. It is an ecosystem under threat. Many venues have disappeared since the likes of Suede, Oasis, Nirvana and NIN did their first UK tours. We discuss the UK’s grassroots music venue ecosystem, vital for new generations of artists, and where your favourite bands and acts emerged from. We cover the threats and challenges such venues face and hope for emerging opportunities. Mark offers advice to venues and artists.
