In this sermon from the 11:30 at Holy Trinity Rathmines, Rector Rob Jones introduces us to Pioneer Ministry — a movement within the Church of Ireland seeking to reach people with little or no connection to church, and to explore new ways of being and doing church.
But Pioneer Ministry isn't simply a story happening somewhere else. Its story is deeply connected to Holy Trinity Rathmines. Rob reflects on how the combination of the old and the new here at Holy Trinity helped give birth to a vision that is now reaching across Ireland.
Through stories from pioneers around the country, and a powerful personal testimony, we hear what this looks like on the ground: ordinary people taking the Gospel into new places, building new communities and looking for where God is already at work.
