Linda and Kathryn sit down with Jane Beiles, acclaimed photographer and contributor to the New York Times and Architectural Digest. They explore the art of capturing more than what a space looks like, but how it feels. Jane shares her approach to translating a designer’s intention into an image, finding the subtle details that bring a room to life, and using composition, light, and perspective to tell a deeper story. Together, they explore photography as an extension of design itself, and what it takes to capture the soul of a space.
Details in Design is presented by All The Details in Westport, CT. Since its inception in 1994, All The Details has carved out a unique niche in the world of architectural design and craftsmanship. Under the guidance of our founders, John and Linda Coursen, we have evolved from a supplier and manufacturer of custom wood windows, doors, and specialty mouldings to a leader in the field of Architectural Openings. Our ethos is simple: Every project is a canvas for excellence.
