  • 15. A Letter to Self - Dark Night of the Soul
    2026/09/01

The Letter You Need to Write to Yourself

There is something incredibly powerful about sitting down and writing a letter to yourself—not from the perspective of who you think you should be, but from the woman you are today.

A letter where you forgive yourself for the choices you made when you didn't know what you know now. For the moments you stayed too long, chose differently, played small, trusted the wrong things, or simply did the best you could with the knowledge, awareness, and resources you had at the time.

You don't have to love every choice your past self made to love her.

And you don't have to become someone new by rejecting who you have been.

Your healing asks you to build a deep, loving relationship with the woman you are right now—to listen to her, understand her, care for her, and begin trusting her.

And at the same time, to look back at the women you've been and say, “I understand why you did what you did. I forgive you. I love you. You were trying to get me here.”

This is how we begin creating a different relationship with ourselves—not one built on criticism, regret, or constantly trying to become “better,” but one rooted in compassion, self-trust, self-forgiveness, and love.

Because every version of you deserves a place at the table.

And the woman you are becoming doesn't need to erase the woman you were.

She gets to love her. ❤️

"You don't heal by abandoning the woman you used to be, you heal by coming back into relationship with her."

    🌙 The 3 R's of Better Sleep: Reduce • Release • Reconnect

A restful night's sleep doesn't begin when your head hits the pillow—it begins with how you prepare for it.

    1. REDUCE
Ask yourself: What can I reduce tonight?
Reduce the things that overstimulate your mind and body:

    • Screen time

    • Sugar

    • Caffeine

    • Stressful conversations

    • Late-night work

    • Noise and distractions

Creating less stimulation makes room for more rest.

    2. RELEASE
Ask yourself: What do I need to let go of before bed?
Release anything you're carrying that doesn't belong in tomorrow:

    • Mental clutter

    • Environmental clutter

    • Negative thinking

    • Worry and overthinking

    • Your to-do list (write it down and leave it for tomorrow)

Clear space in your mind so your body can truly rest.

    3. RECONNECT
Ask yourself: How can I reconnect with myself before I fall asleep?
Reconnect with your inner peace and the person you're becoming:

    • Read something uplifting

    • Take slow, intentional breaths

    • Meditate or listen to a guided meditation

    • Practice gratitude

    • Connect with your future self and the life you're creating

When you Reduce what drains you, Release what weighs you down, and Reconnect with what restores you, sleep becomes more than rest—it becomes a powerful act of healing.

    Your Homework:

What is your nighttime routine right now

What is your sleep like right now?

Then using the simple 3 step method begin to create a better quality sleep ritual.

  • 11. Leap of Faith: Dark Night of the Soul
    2026/08/04

There came a moment in my journey when I realized I couldn't think my way forward anymore. I had to trust my way forward.

In this episode, I share the five-letter acronym that became an anchor during my healing journey:

    F – Forgive yourself.
A – Allow life to unfold.
I – Listen to your intuition.
T – Trust what you cannot yet see.
H – Honor yourself and the journey you're on.

Faith isn't about having all the answers. It's about taking the next step, even when you can't see the entire path.

If you're waiting for certainty before moving forward, this episode is your invitation to begin trusting yourself again.

When life feels overwhelming, our first instinct is often to think our way out of it. But healing doesn't begin in the mind—it begins in the nervous system.

In this episode, I share why learning to regulate myself became one of the biggest turning points in my healing journey. You'll discover why it's so difficult to make good decisions from a dysregulated state and how returning to safety within yourself changes everything.

Sometimes the next right step isn't doing more. It's calming your body enough to hear what's been there all along.

Questions to ask yourself when you are disregulated.

    1. What am I feeling? Name it

    2. What does it feel like? Describe it

    3. Where is it located? Find it

    4. What does it make me want to do? Understand it

    5. Do I feel better if I do that thing? Try it

    6. If I wasn't feeling _______, I would be feeling _____? Manage it
