  • How I Ended My Own Suffering | A 5-Minute Exercise to Start Healing
    2026/08/14

How do stop suffering and learn how to heal yourself emotionally when the past still feels present?

In this episode, we explore how to stop reliving painful experiences, how to let go of the stories that keep emotional suffering alive, and how to begin creating more peace internally.

You’ll learn why pain and suffering are not always the same thing, how your thoughts and interpretations can keep difficult experiences active long after they happen, and how to begin changing your internal state without denying what happened or blaming yourself for it.

One of the most important shifts I made in my own healing was realizing that if I had the ability to create so much suffering through the stories I was telling myself, I also had the ability to create greater peace, healing, and freedom.

This is not about saying you caused your pain.

Pain can come from relationships, rejection, loss, difficult experiences, and the actions of other people. But after the painful experience, our minds often begin attaching meaning to what happened.

    We may start telling ourselves:

    “I’m not lovable.”

    “I’m broken.”

    “This always happens to me.”

    “I’ll never get past this.”

Those thoughts can feel true because they are familiar. But just because you feel something does not mean every story attached to that feeling is true.

    In this episode, you’ll learn:

    * How to stop suffering emotionally
    * How to heal yourself by changing your relationship with your thoughts
    * The difference between pain and ongoing suffering
    * How to stop reliving painful experiences
    * How the stories you tell yourself can keep emotional pain alive
    * Why taking ownership of your healing is not the same as blaming yourself
    * How to separate what you are feeling from the meaning you are giving it
    * How to calm your nervous system through a simple breathing practice
    * How visualization can help you create a small shift toward peace
    * Why even a 5% or 10% emotional shift can show you that healing is possible

I’ll also guide you through a simple exercise you can use to show yourself how you can become the source of your own healing.
