Some things don't end because they're bad. They end because they're finished.
That distinction matters — because most of us were never taught to let something go simply because it had run its course. We were taught to fix it, fight for it, or find a way to make it work. Letting go, without a catastrophic reason, can feel like failure. Like giving up. Like something must be wrong with us for not wanting to hold on.
But sometimes what we're holding on to isn't the relationship — it's the familiar discomfort of it. The feeling we know. The version of ourselves that existed inside it.
In this episode, we talk about what it really means to release — not just relationships with people, but relationships with jobs, organizations, communities, and versions of yourself that no longer fit where you're going. We talk about why familiarity gets mistaken for belonging, and what it costs you to keep holding on past the expiration date.
Some doors are meant to close. This episode gives you permission to close them — gently, deliberately, and without guilt.
Reflection Question: What are you holding on to right now because it's familiar — not because it's still serving you?
The permission to let go was always yours. If you're ready to do the work — start at labelsbegone.com.
