Satan has power. But he does not have authority over your home, your health, or your family. And everything he has been doing there is illegal.

In this Sunday message, Pastor Donnie McClurkin opens Luke 10:19-20 and addresses a gap most believers have never closed: the difference between power and authority. The enemy operates on power. God's people operate on authority. They are not the same, and that distinction changes everything about how a believer stands against the enemy.

Two biblical moments anchor the message. When 70 disciples came back to Jesus excited that devils were subject to them, He redirected them. Satan was already undone; that was never the point. And when Moses stood frozen at the Red Sea after ten plagues and a burning bush, God did not send a new miracle. He sent a reminder: stretch out your rod. The power is already invested in you. I am not moving until you move.

This message calls the church to stop tolerating what God has already authorized them to shut down. Generational cycles, sickness, fear, financial pressure: none of it holds legal authority in the life of a believer who knows who they are. God deputized you. He gave you keys to the kingdom and authority over every power of the enemy. He is waiting to see you use them.

Stand in your authority. The enemy has no legal ground in your life.

    Sermon Scripture: Luke 10:19 KJV

  • Use Your Authority Pt. 2

He gave you keys to the kingdom and authority oWhat if the things you have been fighting are not new? What if they were inherited?

In this Sunday message, Pastor Donnie McClurkin picks up where last week left off and goes deeper. Drawing from 2 Corinthians 4:1-2, he addresses what Paul called the hidden things of dishonesty: the things passed down through bloodlines, operating in the dark, that have never been identified or renounced. Until today.

From generational sickness to secret practices, from fear and anger that ride quietly through families to pledges made in ignorance that opened doors to the enemy, Pastor McClurkin makes clear that the enemy rides on what is unnamed and unchecked. The moment you identify it and speak against it using the authority God has already given you, the cycle ends. Not just for you. For your children, your grandchildren, and everyone connected to you.

He brings the Bishop Winans bladder cancer testimony to show what happens when a believer refuses to accept a report that contradicts the word of God. He draws from Moses at the Red Sea and Peter's revelation at Caesarea Philippi to anchor the sermon's central declaration: you are not just fighting for yourself. You are fighting for your generations.

The run is over. Use your authority.

What does it really cost to follow Jesus?

In this Sunday message, Pastor Donnie McClurkin calls the church to move past comfort and sensationalism and into the sober, faithful work of the kingdom. Rooted in Matthew 16:24-27, the sermon reminds believers that following Christ begins with denying self, taking up the cross, and giving our lives to the mission He left in our hands.

Pastor McClurkin points to the life of Jesus as the clearest picture of kingdom work. From the well in Samaria to the multitudes on the mountainside, Jesus was always moving toward people in need. The harvest is still plentiful and the laborers are still few, and every believer has been bought with a price to carry the gospel to those who have not yet heard it.

The message challenges the church to stop chasing the spectacle and start pursuing what truly changes lives: obedience, sacrifice, and the Word of God. True joy is found in obeying Christ, and the cross He calls us to carry is a daily surrender of our comfort, our attitude, and our own agenda.

This sermon is a call to wake up, get to work, and be found faithful when the Master returns.

Following Jesus is not a call to comfort but a call to work, and the kingdom advances when believers lay down their lives for the sake of others.
