Penn State falls 34-13 to Northwestern in the Ryan Field opener, dropping their record to 3-2 and leaving them 12th in the Big Ten. Rocco Becht threw two interceptions while completing 26-of-41 passes, and the defense could not contain Caleb Komolafe's 188-yard rushing performance.

Key stats include Becht's 243 passing yards and one touchdown, alongside Chase Sowell's 68 receiving yards. On the defensive side, Tony Rojas recorded 12 tackles and a sack, but the unit struggled against Northwestern's ground attack led by Kobie McKinzie's 10 tackles.

The Nittany Lions now turn their attention to the upcoming clash against USC on October 10th. Hosts analyze the offensive inefficiencies, defensive gaps, and the critical need for ball security to remain relevant in the College Football Playoff race.
