  • Episode 38: Wah Wah Wahs
    2025/06/30

The Broncos are again in the winner’s circle with a strong 26 - 12 win over the Warriors — and the Lads are here to break it all down.

In this episode, we analyse every angle of the match: a dominant first-half performance, standout efforts from Staggs and Shibasaki, and the defensive grit that kept the Warriors at bay. We dive into the tactical shifts, missed opportunities, and the influence of referee Adam G., whose no-fuss style had fans cheering for once.

Beyond the scoreboard, we unpack Origin teams, and the ripple effects the selections will have on the big clash with the Bulldogs — plus, a deeper conversation about team culture, and the Broncos’ trajectory for the season.

Packed with Broncos bias, QLD swagger, and just the right amount of whinge — it’s another classic Penalty Broncos week.

  • Episode 37: Long Dropouts & Big Comebacks
    2025/06/23

Down 22–6 and looking dead in the water — the Thoroughbreds were bracing for a long, painful Sunday. But then… something clicked.

In this week’s episode, Britto and Ringer break down the wild comeback win over the Sharks in front of 39,000 at Suncorp. We unpack a horror first half, a brain snap from the Sharks before halftime, and a second half where the Broncos finally remembered who they are — complete with Reese magic, Staggs domination, long dropouts, and some proper grit from the bench.

We talk about effort, culture, composure, and how the boys turned panic into purpose. Plus: Nico’s Academy Award nominations, field goal fails, and some (surprisingly normal) praise for Shibasaki.

Packed with Broncos bias, second-half swagger, and just the right amount of whinge — it’s another classic Penalty Broncos week.

    01:02:24 - Gronk & Thoroughbred Hotline

The Gronk eats his words regarding origin, a Thoroughbred wants to know where all the NSW brooms have gone, and we do a little bit of a dive on the Origin Game II result. Where to from here for both teams.

1:41:56 - Look Ahead To The Week Ahead

We review the Casualty Ward and Judiciary for the Broncos as we prepare to take on the Warriors in Round 17.

    1:50:59 - Tipping, Accountability & Bets

  • Episode 36: Problem Solvers
    2025/06/16

It’s the bye week, but the Penalty Broncos boys are still clocking on. With no Broncos footy to wrap around, Britto, Ringer, and Langers dive headfirst into the bigger issues swirling around the game.

From the NRL’s outdated copyright crackdown on content creators (shoutout to Hectic Fred) to the inconsistencies in try rulings like Staggs vs Wong.

Then it's Origin chaos: selection stunners, bench puzzles, and Billy Slater’s stormy strategy. The team debates if it's time for a “Magic Month” mid-season rep window — Origin, internationals, NRLW, and under-19s all in one monster block of footy.

Oh, and yes, we also solve the game’s major structural problems — again. PVL, we’re ready for the call.

It’s passionate, unfiltered, and very much everything you expect from the panel: Broncos bias and unfiltered footy fandom - it’s another classic Penalty Broncos week.

    2025/06/10

The Broncos are back in black — and back in the winner’s circle. In this week’s episode, Britto and Ringer break down the dominant 44–14 win over the Titans, fueled by one of the best promotional jerseys the NRL has ever seen. But don’t let the scoreline fool you — this win raised as many questions as it did celebrations.

We cover everything from the resurgence of Kotoni Staggs, the rise of Jordan Karapani, and controlled aggression from Piakura, to where the hell Selwyn Cobbo’s head is at. Plus: Haas brothers speculation, Walters’ rogue brilliance, Reyno's revival, and a big chat on NRL culture and effort areas.

With origin selections looming, fan expectations rising, and some culture-setting performances on display — this one goes deep.
