The family is still trying to be patient when the OFFICE MANAGER lets them know they must reschedule for another day. ALFREDO persists in asking the OM to have pity on their patients, who are worried about their health and even fearing possible death, but the OM is not deterred. For PEETY, seeing her father beg to be treated with respect is too much for her and she realizes she needs to teach this OM a lesson. She then takes her family out for dinner so they can put all this frustration behind them. Her exasperation seems to at least bring her family together and they realize they have each other and, for now, that is enough.
