Patrice Isley drops her soul-stirring new single “Take Me In Your Arms” on September 25th via Expansion Records, a UK label with deep roots in classic soul. With her signature five-octave range, Isley delivers a raw, string-laced love song that’s pure late-night emotion—smoky lows to soaring, restrained highs, all serving the heart of the track. Written by David Kent (who’s worked with Expansion before and now debuts with Isley), this marks her first collaboration with him. Rising from vocal training at age four to earning a Marquette University degree, Isley has backed legends like Teddy Pendergrass and Barry White, collaborated with over 30 major artists, and soared solo since 2016—with chart-topping hits and performances at the Grammys and The Tonight Show. Beyond the stage, she’s an educator championing Black women in music, blending artistry with activism.
