  • Praying For Others
    2026/07/20

Prayer is my responsibility in God’s sovereign work.

In 1 Timothy 2:1–7, Paul calls the church to make prayer a priority by offering supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people. Rather than responding to the world with fear or frustration, believers are called to faithfully pray, trusting that God is sovereign over every person and every circumstance.

God desires people to come to the knowledge of the truth, and He has provided the only way of salvation through Jesus Christ, the one Mediator between God and man. As we trust God’s sovereign plan, we are called to faithfully lift others before Him in prayer.

    As you watch, consider:

    • Is prayer a regular and intentional part of my life?
    • Do I faithfully pray for all people, including those in authority?
    • Am I trusting God’s sovereign rule instead of relying on my own understanding?
    • Do my prayers reflect God’s desire for people to know the truth of the gospel?
    • Am I living a life that demonstrates faith in the God who hears and answers prayer?

    📖 Scripture References: 1 Timothy 2:1–8

Big Idea – Praying is my responsibility in God’s sovereign work.

  • Christ's Glory Displayed To Sinners
    2026/07/13

Christ displays His glory through the lives of those He saves.

In 1 Timothy 1:12–20, Paul reflects on the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ that transformed him from a blasphemer, persecutor, and violent opponent of the church into an apostle of the gospel. His testimony reminds us that no one is beyond the reach of God’s saving grace.

Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners, and Paul’s life stands as a living display of Christ’s perfect patience and glorious mercy. Those whom Christ saves are not only forgiven but are called to faithfully fight the good fight, hold firmly to the faith, and live for His glory.

    As you watch, consider:

    • Have I experienced the transforming grace of Jesus Christ?
    • Does my life display the glory of the Savior?
    • Am I walking in faith with a clear conscience?
    • Am I faithfully fighting the good fight for the sake of the gospel?
    • Is Christ using my life as a testimony of His mercy and grace?

    📖 Scripture References: 1 Timothy 1:12–20

Big Idea – Christ displays His glory through the lives of those He saves.

  • Confronting False Teachers
    2026/07/06

False teachers are dangerous because they lead people away from the truth.

In 1 Timothy 1:3–11, Paul charges Timothy to confront false teachers and protect the church from doctrines that lead people away from the gospel. While false teaching produces confusion, speculation, and empty discussion, God’s truth produces love that flows from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith.

The law was never given to save sinners but to reveal our sin and point us to the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ. The church must remain anchored in sound doctrine because only God’s truth gives life.

    As you watch, consider:

    • Am I rooted in the truth of God’s Word?
    • Do I know the gospel well enough to recognize false teaching?
    • Is my life producing the fruit of a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith?
    • Am I committed to defending biblical truth with both conviction and love?
    • Is Christ and His gospel the foundation of everything I believe?

    📖 Scripture References: 1 Timothy 1:3–11

Big idea - False teachers will cause the church to abandon God’s truth.

  • God's Rules For His House
    2026/07/01

Do you live by God’s standards or your own?
In 1 Timothy 3:14–16, Paul reminds us that the church is the household of God, the pillar and buttress of the truth. God has not left His church without direction. Through His Word, He shows us how His people are to live, worship, and uphold the gospel.

At the center of God’s church is Jesus Christ. He was manifested in the flesh, vindicated by the Spirit, seen by angels, proclaimed among the nations, believed on in the world, and taken up in glory. Everything the church is and does must point to Him.

    As you watch, consider:

    • Is my hope found in Jesus Christ alone?
    • Does my life reflect God’s truth?
    • Am I faithfully committed to Christ and His church?
    • Am I helping uphold the truth of the gospel?
    • Is Christ being made known through my life?

  • Gospel Focus That Produces Change
    2026/07/01

Has the gospel truly changed your life?

In the closing verses of Philemon, Paul points us to the visible evidence of God’s transforming grace. The gospel does not merely change our eternity—it changes our hearts, our priorities, and the way we live each day.

A gospel-centered life produces clear evidence of God’s grace at work. As believers grow in Christ, obedience replaces rebellion, hope overcomes despair, and trust in God becomes the foundation of everyday life.

The grace that saves us is also the grace that sanctifies us.

    As you watch, consider:

    • Have I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ?
    • Is the gospel the foundation of my life?
    • Am I living in obedience to God’s Word?
    • Am I placing my hope and trust in God?
    • What evidence of God’s transforming grace can be seen in my life?

  • Gospel Partnerships That Refresh
    2026/05/25

Big Idea: The gospel produces lives that strengthen and refresh others in Christ.

In Philemon 1–7, Paul gives thanks for a man whose faith was visible through the way he loved and encouraged others. Philemon’s life became evidence of the gospel at work. His faith was not private or passive. It refreshed the hearts of the saints and strengthened the church.

The gospel does more than save us from sin. It transforms the way we live, love, serve, and care for others. A life shaped by Christ becomes a source of encouragement in a weary world.

“For I have derived much joy and comfort from your love, my brother, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you.” — Philemon 7 (ESV)

  • United For The Gospel
    2026/05/19

Big Idea: Believers united for the gospel live courageously in a world that opposes them.

Philippians 1:27–30 reminds us that the Christian life was never meant to be lived in isolation. Paul calls the church to stand firm in one spirit, striving side by side for the faith of the gospel. In a world that pushes against truth, believers are called to walk worthy of Christ with courage, unity, and steadfast faith.

The gospel not only saves us. It shapes the way we live, suffer, serve, and stand together. Even opposition becomes a reminder that we belong to Christ.

“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ…” — Philippians 1:27 (ESV)

  • Set Apart For God's Purpose
    2026/05/11

Big Idea: God’s blessing of children obligates me to set them apart for His purpose.

This Mother’s Day, 1 Samuel 1:1–28 reminded us that even through deep pain, anxiety, and unanswered longing, God is still at work. Hannah carried years of sorrow and burden, yet she continued to bring her heart before the Lord in faith. When God answered, she responded with surrender, setting Samuel apart for God’s purpose.

This passage ultimately points us to Christ, who gave His life so we could be redeemed and set apart for the glory of God.

“For this child I prayed, and the LORD has granted me my petition that I made to him.” (1 Samuel 1:27, ESV)
