2 Kings 5:20-27 Tells the story of the greedy servant of Elisha. He was upset that Elisha did not take the money from Naam and he ran after it and hid the money. It cost him a lot, he became a leper. Greed is not a sin we think of as something we do, only the really rich. However it is hidden in our hearts and has devastating consequences.

Psalm 116 teaches us how much God cares and listens to us. Pastor Gary uses vers 8 as an outline as we learn that God has delivered our soul from death, our eyes from tears and our feet from fallen. No matter what struggle or trial we face, we can lift up our hearts towards God because he is a sympathetic listener.

2 Thessalonians 3:6-19 Sometime we accuse politicians about being soft on crime, but often in the church we are soft on laziness. We all struggle with laziness, but when it becomes a way of life we are living in sin. Pau was clear, don't be idle and waste your time and others, pull your weight and use your time for God' kingdom.

Exodus 36:1-7 Can you imagine going to church and the church saying that we don't need to take an offering because we have enough? The people were willing to give money for the work of the tabernacle and there was so much that Moses said it is enough. There are so many benefits to being generous. Pastor is going to challenge us to be generous and see how it changes our hearts.

Ephesians 6:10-18 - Verse 12 of this text teaches us about the the ideas, thoughts and ideologies that rule our world. How did we get to a place where the majority of a jury can justify a women killing her kids? The bible explains that when we reject God, and give into the flesh, our minds are changed and we believe lies. Pastor talks about 3 ideologies or prevailing beliefs that have influenced society to the point where we are destroying ourselves.

Luke 8:4-15 Jesus declared those who have ears let them hear. Jesus tells the parable of the 4 soils and urges us to be careful how we hear. We often hear the sounds but don't put into practice what we hear. If is not knowledge that makes us grow but obeying the teachings of Jesus.

Luke 7:1-10 Luke tells the story of when Jesus interacted with a Roman Centurion. Jesus marveled at this man's faith and used this gentiles faith as a rebuke for the unbelief of his own people.

Missionary Rick Shusler speaks from Luke 15 about how God is still working in the lives of people. He relates his testimony of how he was burned when he was a young man and how God has worked in his life.
