  • Daily Devotions: The Gracious Hand of God - August 04, 2025
    2025/08/04
Scripture: Ezra 7:10 (NLT) - "This was because Ezra had determined to study and obey the Law of the Lord and to teach those decrees and regulations to the people of Israel." Why was the gracious hand of God upon Ezra? Because he made a firm commitment: to study, live, and teach God's Word. In this episode, Pastor David Sumrall shows how this simple but powerful dedication invited God's gracious hand to move mightily—bringing provision, success, protection, and capable leaders to support the work. For young pastors and believers alike, the message is clear: you don’t need shortcuts or charisma—just a life rooted in the Word. • Daily Devotions: How We Are Commanded to Live in the Church - August 03, 2025
    2025/08/03

1 Corinthians 1:5 (NLT) "Through him, God has enriched your church in every way—with all of your eloquent words and all of your knowledge."

1 Corinthians 10–12 (NLT) "I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose. For some members of Chloe’s household have told me about your quarrels, my dear brothers and sisters. Some of you are saying, “I am a follower of Paul.” Others are saying, “I follow Apollos,” or “I follow Peter,” or “I follow only Christ.”

In today’s Daily Devotions, Pastor David Sumrall gives us a reminder: God has enriched your church—not just you as an individual.

Paul’s words to the Corinthians challenge the growing trend of spiritual individualism. The local church is God’s plan, and it matters. But when people start saying, “I follow this pastor” or “I only follow Christ,” it creates division instead of unity. Paul pleads with the church to stop following personalities and start living in harmony—with one mind, one thought, and one purpose.

This kind of unity isn’t just possible—it’s what God desires for every local church today.

Watch now and let your heart be aligned to God’s design for the church: unified, enriched, and walking in purpose.

  • Daily Devotions: How to Handle Divisive People - August 02 , 2025
    2025/08/02

Romans 16:17–18 (NLT) “And now I make one more appeal, my dear brothers and sisters. Watch out for people who cause divisions and upset people’s faith by teaching things contrary to what you have been taught. Stay away from them. Such people are not serving Christ our Lord; they are serving their own personal interests. By smooth talk and glowing words they deceive innocent people.”

In this episode, Pastor David Sumrall tackles how to deal with divisive people in the church.

Some truths are hard to teach—but necessary for protecting the body of Christ. Paul warns us not about demons, but about people who divide churches, upset faith, and deceive others with smooth, spiritual-sounding words. These are not just noisy troublemakers—they’re smiling snakes with hidden agendas.

As Pastor Sumrall shares, the answer is clear: watch out for them, and stay away. Even when friendships are involved, we are called to guard truth and unity over personal ties.

Watch now and learn how to navigate tough situations with wisdom, love, and biblical clarity.
