Jessie Watt from Mix 96.5 talks with Jim Dutton, President of the Pasadena Livestock Show and Rodeo, about their upcoming 77th year! PLSR kicks off with the BBQ Cook off on September 11th and 12th. With more than 100 cook teams, an ag mechanics show and auction, and lots of family fun! The real rodeo action will be September 18th-26th with a full family carnival, livestock shows, mutton bustin', concerts, and more! Jim tells what went into planning this year's event, how giving back to the next generation is their core mission, and how each ticket sold supports local youth through FFA and 4-H scholarships. Tickets are available now at pasadenarodeo.com!
