  • How's the shift to RevOps going? (Oh, and some chat on jobs)
    2025/08/15

    Send us a text

This week, it's another ramble while I wait for guest schedules to open up.

That's right... I'm looking for guests... maybe even some recurring personalities... so let's go already.

    • Discussing the validations I've had for shifting into RevOps as a core function
    • Listing a few jobs I've recently shared at the Dir. and Sr. Mgr Level
    • A brief rant on the nature of creating job descriptions for Partner Ops
    • A call for guests... did I say that already?

Until next time, good luck partnering!

  • Adventures in RevOps: Call for Conversations!
    2025/07/25

    Send us a text

    No fluff this week.

Okay... some fluff this week, but still a call to action for anyone that wants to jump on the horn and have a real conversation about the intersection of RevOps + Partnerships in the age of Ecosystem and AI!

My new 'direction' is opening a wide array of exposures and interests and promises to be really interesting, while also giving me a platform to keep saying what I've said for years.

I want to TALK to people again, however, because I have a feeling there's a lot to learn.

    You in?

    Let's talk.

  • Adventures in RevOps: Going Nimbly?
    2025/07/15

    Send us a text

Join me as I ramble, per normal, and work my way toward announcing a new role at a new company with a new focus that still includes championing partner operations but as part of the larger GTM narrative.

    The short story:

    • Jurassic World: Rebirth is the worst move in the series. #sorrynotsorry
    • More than anything, wasting my time is the greatest offense.
    • Narratives around partner operations are fairly consistent toward reactive positions that struggle to provide long-term professional opportunities for the people in these seats.
    • It feels like the narrative to be a Partner Ops professional is, potentially, a wasted narrative.
    • Core GTM needs more awareness of Partnerships earlier.
    • Partner operations have significant operational implications based on partner programs that go beyond sourced revenue alone.
    • I'm joining Go Nimbly as a RevOps architect to bring a PartnerOps lens to existing and future clients with Partner-specific service opportunities

Come along as I kick this engine back up and discuss how working in RevOps changes my perspective and, perhaps, recommendations for how Partnerships and ecosystem can find success through early collaboration with GTM machines.

Until next time, good luck partnering!

  • Acknowledgement: It's a Weird Time to Be Alive

Now, more than ever, I'm looking for my people. If this episode hits, please share and help me find them.

If it doesn't, might be time to unsubscribe and find a place you feel more comfortable.

In case you just don't listen - I'm a feminist ally that supports the effort to create a balanced world through diversity, equity, and inclusion. And that's probably just the tip of the iceberg.

It's a really weird time to be alive.

We might as well be weird together.

Until next time, good luck living.

  • NotebookLM Deep Dive: My Resume?
    2024/10/18

    Send us a text

So what happens if you upload your resume to NotebookLM as the single source?

    • AI podcasts go deep on your experience and say 'Sauce' (SaaS)...
    • They don't consider 'Atlassian' as a big name brand, hah
    • They legitimately cover a lot of ground and value, and do a really compelling job of making me sound super interesting
    • They discuss the SaaS industry in depth, which is fascinating considering the focus was my single page resume

Ultimately, I'd love to recruiters to take a minute and consider my resume at the same level. They drove some questions, some insights, and actually helped me consider what I may or may not need to include. For example, I've left some of the most interesting projects off because they were not 'jobs' in the traditional sense of the word, and now I'm wondering... do I need another overhaul to better understand my own narrative?

Try it yourself, would love to hear how it goes.

Until next time, Good luck Partnering.

Life Happens: An Update and Gratitude from Aaron Howerton

In this episode, I provide an update after a three-month hiatus, sharing personal and professional challenges that led to the break. Despite the pause, the podcast has surpassed a thousand downloads, which I credit to loyal listeners and the occasional new audience member that seems to connect with the messaging.

I'm deeply grateful for the continued support. We have future plans for the platform, including collaboration and fundamental shifts in the underlying business.

This is a low key episode, not much structure, harkening back to the early days, and stopping by just to say, as always, thank you, and good luck partnering.
