What makes a great padel club and how do you keep it accessible to more people?

Jeremy Speicher sits down with Padel Smash to discuss Epic Padel’s partnership with Prosperity Athletic Club in Charlotte, North Carolina. He shares how introducing padel into an established sports facility creates opportunities to reach existing members and offer something for the whole family.

We discuss the unexpected demands of club ownership, the construction and maintenance behind padel courts, and why the team chose five courts instead of squeezing in six. Jeremy also explains how member lounges, hospitality and plans for a courtside social hub support the experience beyond the match.

The conversation closes with his approach to attainable pricing and creating a welcoming club where people can play, connect and spend time together.

For players, coaches and club entrepreneurs, this episode explores how thoughtful club design and community can help grow padel in the United States.

Cesc sits down with Jake and Paulo at Ox Ridge Padel in Darien, Connecticut, for a conversation about their journey, the lessons that changed their game, and the work of building a new padel community.

They share how they transitioned from tennis to padel, why a humbling tournament experience forced them to rethink their approach, and how a connection through the UK brought them to Connecticut.

The conversation explores the support they received when moving to the United States, Ox Ridge’s pop-up court setup, and their account of 200 founding memberships sold in pre-sale before players had tried the courts.
