The penultimate weekend of LCS Spring Split is complete, and on this week's PROS, Azael is joined by representatives from each of our finals weekend teams: Lyon Inspired, Team Liquid Alienware Josedeodo, and Cloud9 Kia Zven. SPOILERS AHEAD!
The group starts by diving into today's series between LYON and C9, and the unexpected sweep that punched Lyon's ticket to MSI and the LCS Grand Final next Sunday. They discuss what went wrong for C9, what went right for LYON, and if Cloud9 ever has a chance to break their post-season curse.
Then the pros give their thoughts on Saturday's series between TLAW and FLY, giving props to the young, up-and-coming roster of players on Flyquest for fighting valiantly, but ultimately showing their inexperience versus a Team Liquid that is gaining momentum towards the final.
Finally, the squad discusses the Kia All-Pro teams, who was deserving, who was snubbed, and why it seemed like both C9 and LYON had it out for Josedeodo (despite being ultimately unsuccessful).

Week 1 of LCS Playoffs is complete and what a banger weekend it was! Two full game best of 5 series between the top 4 teams in the LCS, with Cloud9 Kia taking on Flyquest before Lyon took to the rift versus Team Liquid Alienware. After the dust settled, Emily sat down with Josedeodo, Berkserker, and Isles to talk about all the action packed weekend.
The discussion starts with a recap of the Sunday series between our PROS, talking about the suspense of a long game 5 that ends in a single teamfight. That game was in stark contrast to Game 3, which was a bloodbath of epic proportions. The players talk about their triumphs, their follies, and Berserker admits some fat-finger moments that might have gone unnoticed.
Then the group shifts focus to C9 versus FLY, another 5 game series, which saw unique champion picks and exciting games. Cloud9 may have come into the series as the undefeated favorites, but Flyquest showed that they are a force to be reckoned with. These are two teams to keep an eye on throughout the playoffs.
