The King's New Orders is a parable about power, paperwork, and a very busy monarch. In the Kingdom of Republica, the King had a habit: whenever the realm grew restless, whenever the winds shifted, whenever the council whispered too loudly, he would retreat to his chamber and sign orders. Dozens of them. Sometimes hundreds. There was no rhyme or reason to it. He just signed them.

However, since the Prez and Iran signed a Peace Treaty with one another, our Prez told Israel they would have to change their attitude toward their European neighbors to avoid a costly war or worse, the atomic bomb.

In our current prez's circle, another senior woman in his orbit allegedly reached her breaking point. She threatened to walk, not whisper, not hint, not suggest, but walk. And the moment that happened, the entire power dynamic shifted. Our Prez, who usually issues ultimatums, suddenly reversed himself to keep her from leaving.

Prez and homeland secretary ignore a federal judge's ruling, and both men ignore the federal judge's ruling. More like selective obedience in not obeying the law Prez limits and following the Constitution.
