  • Does Asking for Advice Really Make You Smarter?
    2025/12/18
Harvard says asking for advice makes you look smarter—but Brant isn’t buying it. After all, nothing says “genius” like wandering AutoZone or Home Depot looking lost while internally begging for help with car parts or power tools. Sherri’s with him on this one, proving that sometimes “competence” is just a fancy word for “I still don’t know what I’m doing.”

  • Christmas Blessing - A Breath of Fresh Air
    2025/12/16
Emile and her 2 kids had to leave their home recently after a mold exposure left them with ongoing health issues.

Emilie's friend Amy was filled with compassion for her story and has been desperately trying to find a way to help Emilie breathe easier this Christmas season.

Thanks to Amy for nominating and for our friends at Walton Beverage and WRS for blessing Emilie this Christmas.

Emilie will receive a powerful air purifier to ensure her new home is filled with clean air. And to help her get by this Christmas, we want to fill her gas tank, stock her refrigerator, and sprinkle a few Christmas gifts in there their new home as well.

Emilie and Amy's beautiful story of friendship reminds us of Galatians 6:2: "Share each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."

Thank you to our friends at Walton Beverage and WRS for making this Christmas a blessing to families in our community. And thank YOU for coming alongside and making Christmas Blessings happen in Jesus' name.

  • Christmas Blessing - A Baby Changes Everything
    2025/12/09
Nathan is an aspiring pastor and soon to be dad who has been working tirelessly sometimes 7 days a week to provide for his family. Even through setbacks and financial struggles, Nathan and his wife Jenna trust in God to provide for all their needs.

We had to let go of our house, our car, and some of our belongings to move back with family here. He's been working hard day and night...even through all of the hardships we've gone through, he has been so faithful to Jesus. You will never hear him blame God or deny his faith. Even when I feel doubtful, and I feel scared and worrisome, Nathan is always there to pick me back up and remind me that Jesus has our back. I just wanted to nominate him so he would feel seen by the Lord.

Their baby girl will be named Noel, an added blessing and joy to their family this Christmas season.

To help Jenna and Nathan with the arrival of their daughter, they will be receiving their first month's rent paid, baby items, groceries, and overnight stay for a babymoon thanks to WRS and Walton Beverage.

Please lift Jenna, Nathan, and the upcoming birth of their baby girl Noel up in prayer. We also pray a blessing over Nathan, for the right doors to open for him to become a pastor.

  • Brant Hansen Christmas Song: "Get Me Some Presents"
    2025/12/06
Christmas is busy. Like, “where did I put the scissors, and why is the tape stuck to the cat” busy. Brant and Sherri know this all too well, which is why Brant grabbed his acoustic guitar and wrote the ultimate holiday anthem: “Get Me Some Presents.”

It starts off sounding like a heartfelt reminder about slowing down during the season… and then takes a sharp left turn. Honestly, it’s the kind of song that perfectly captures the tug‑of‑war between holiday chaos and the undeniable thrill of shiny boxes under the tree.

It’s part parody, part truth, and all the way relatable for anyone who’s ever tried to balance the joy of giving with the joy of unwrapping.

  • Are We Quicker to Bless or to Cut Down?
    2025/12/05
Words carry weight. They can either tear down or build up, curse or bless. Brant and Sherri remind us of the incredible opportunity we have to add value through our speech. Instead of defaulting to criticism or negativity, we can cultivate a heart that is ready to bless others with kindness.

Brant points to Proverbs 31, where it says that the virtuous woman speaks with the “law of kindness” on her tongue. This isn’t just about occasional encouragement—it’s about developing a way of speaking that becomes second nature, a rhythm of grace that flows from within. With intentional practice, our words can become quicker to bless, shaping not only our relationships but also our own hearts.

Click PLAY to hear how allowing God’s Spirit to transform our speech becomes an opportunity to reflect His love.
