It's playoff time! PLL Quarterfinals this weekend are being played in Minnesota, so we've got some Minnesota flavor for this episode.
But first, we talk a bit about Team USA coming up short against Team Canada at the Pan Am Championships in Kingston. We cover the tournament as a whole, and Team USA's loss in the gold medal game, along with some thoughts on the nature of Team USA's play.
Then, it's MN time. We talk to Alan Childs from the Minnesota Lacrosse Hall of Fame. We cover the growth of the sport in Minnesota, from its roots with the indigenous community, to organized lacrosse being played in the late 1800s, all the way up through today. We cover the modern state of the game in MN, the players going to play at the highest level, and that includes the latest Hall of Fame class which is being inducted at this weekend's games, headlined by Ryan McNamara.
Finally, we talk about the two games on the schedule. Keys to the matchup between Denver and California, then Boston and Maryland. What I'll be looking for, and more.
