ESCAPE — The Wilderness That Prepared Your Deliverance

Pamoja Ministry | A Prophetic Conversation and Prayer

You were on the hit list of hell… BUT YOU ESCAPED!

What if the wilderness you have been praying to escape is the very place where God has been preparing you for what comes next?

David was anointed to become king, yet he spent years running for his life, hiding in caves and navigating the wilderness. What appeared to be a season of fear and uncertainty became a place of preparation. David was learning more than survival. He was developing wisdom, leadership, restraint, and the ability to trust God’s purpose beyond the actions of his enemies.

And one day, the very cave that had sheltered him became the setting where his character was tested.

Sometimes, God changes something within you before changing the circumstances around you.

In this deeply personal and Scripture-centered conversation, we explore the mystery of divine preservation, spiritual transformation, and God’s power to bring deliverance out of seemingly impossible circumstances.

Drawing from David, Joseph, Moses, Israel at the Red Sea, Daniel, Peter, and other biblical testimonies, we discover that God’s deliverance does not always arrive in the form we expect.

This conversation also carries a personal testimony of faith: a strong conviction that even in the middle of difficult circumstances, God is working, transforming the heart, and preparing to reveal His power.

Through Psalm 124:7, Zechariah 3:2, and Revelation 12:11, we explore what it means to be snatched from the fire, preserved by God’s mercy, and victorious through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Perhaps you are facing betrayal, injustice, false accusations, sickness, financial struggles, or a season that has shaken your faith.

This message invites you to look beyond the battle, remember God’s faithfulness, and trust Him with what comes next.

The conversation concludes with a heartfelt prophetic prayer for deliverance, vindication, restoration, spiritual strength, and renewed faith in Jesus Christ.

You were not merely running. You were learning.

You were not merely surviving. You were being shaped.

THE SNARE IS BROKEN. THE BIRD HAS ESCAPED. AND WE HAVE ESCAPED!

“Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” — Psalm 124:8

    2026/10/16

THE ANATOMY OF A HEALTHY CHRISTIAN LIFE

    Season 13 | Conversation II

THE FOUNDATIONS OF SPIRITUAL MATURITY When Discipline Becomes Character

Can you pray, fast, study Scripture, and serve in ministry while still struggling with spiritual immaturity?

What happens when our religious disciplines develop faster than our Christian character?

In this second conversation of The Anatomy of a Healthy Christian Life, we explore the foundations of genuine spiritual maturity and how the Holy Spirit transforms our character through a life of faith, obedience, and spiritual discipline.

Drawing from my personal journey of following Jesus since age eleven, I reflect on how my understanding of Christian maturity has evolved through ministry, marriage, fatherhood, leadership, and life’s difficult seasons.

There was a time when I passionately pursued spiritual gifts, supernatural manifestations, and greater spiritual authority.

But over the years, I discovered an essential truth:

I wanted to see what the Holy Spirit could do through me, while God was teaching me to recognize what the Holy Spirit needed to transform within me.

Through Scripture and personal testimonies, we examine prayer, fasting, biblical meditation, sanctification, the fear of God, self-control, and the fruit of the Spirit.

We explore Joseph’s integrity, David’s restraint, Paul’s teaching on spiritual discipline, and a sobering real-life testimony illustrating how uncontrolled anger can lead to devastating consequences.

This conversation challenges us to examine whether our Christian faith is transforming our decisions, relationships, emotions, and everyday conduct.

Spiritual discipline is what we practice. Spiritual character is what those practices should help cultivate. Spiritual maturity becomes visible in how we live.

The question is not simply how long you have been a Christian.

The question is: Who are you becoming through your relationship with Jesus Christ?

    Biblical foundations: John 15:1–8; Galatians 5:16–26; Romans 12:2; James 1:22–25; Genesis 39; Proverbs 25:28.

THE ANATOMY OF A HEALTHY CHRISTIAN LIFE

Season 13 | Conversation I: The Appearance of Spiritual Health

When Religious Activity Hides Spiritual Immaturity

Can you pray, fast, teach Scripture, serve in ministry, and still be spiritually unhealthy?

What if everything about your Christian life looks healthy from the outside, while something within you is quietly drifting away from God?

In this opening conversation of The Anatomy of a Healthy Christian Life, we explore one of the most challenging realities of Christian maturity: religious activity is not necessarily evidence of spiritual transformation.

Through biblical teaching and a deeply personal testimony, we examine the difference between knowing Scripture and living under its authority, exercising spiritual gifts and developing godly character, and maintaining a Christian identity while struggling with hidden compromise.

At just thirteen, I was already fasting and praying. By fifteen, I was teaching Sunday school and witnessing extraordinary spiritual experiences. I knew church doctrine, participated in ministry, and passionately desired more of God’s power.

Yet behind that active Christian life, I was young, immature, and gradually drifting into compromise.

I thought I needed more anointing, more spiritual gifts, and more supernatural encounters.

But what I truly needed was transformation.

At seventeen, an unexpected prayer gathering became a turning point in my life. Through the faith and intervention of my praying mother, Veronique Lusamba Tshiamala, I experienced what I understand today as God’s mercy calling me back to Himself.

My mother went to be with the Lord in December 2019, but the seed of faith she planted continues to bear fruit. Her influence remains part of the testimony behind this ministry.

Together, we examine Matthew 7, 1 Corinthians 13, James 1, Hebrews 5, and other passages to confront essential questions:

    • Can spiritual gifts exist alongside spiritual immaturity?
    • What separates biblical knowledge from genuine transformation?
    • How does hidden compromise affect our relationship with God?
    • What is the difference between spiritual hunger and the pursuit of extraordinary experiences?
    • How does God’s grace lead us toward repentance and lasting maturity?

This is not a conversation intended to condemn struggling Christians. It is an invitation to honest spiritual examination, repentance, and a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ.

A healthy Christian life is not simply the life others admire. It is a life continually surrendered to Jesus Christ.

Join us for Conversation I as we begin a four-part theological journey through spiritual discipline, Christian character, grace, self-control, and spiritual discernment.

  • THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION XI THE ENEMY WITHIN
    2026/10/13

THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION XI

THE ENEMY WITHIN When the Flesh Becomes the Battlefield

Your first enemy is not always the devil. Sometimes, the first enemy you must confront is YOU.

Look around you. Look within yourself. Look back at your spiritual journey.

    Don’t you see it?

The drift. Their drift. Your drift. My drift.

What if some of the battles you blamed on the devil were actually consequences of desires you refused to discipline, boundaries you crossed, and compromises you justified?

In this bold, personal, and prophetic conversation, we confront one of Christianity’s most important teachings: the battle against the flesh.

Christians face three enemies: the devil, the world, and the flesh. Yet many spend their lives confronting spiritual opposition while overlooking the destructive power of their own desires.

Moses encountered God but faced consequences for disobedience. Solomon possessed extraordinary wisdom, yet his desires turned his heart away. Samson was empowered by God but disregarded boundaries. David’s moral failure brought devastating consequences. Judas walked with Jesus, yet betrayed Him.

Spiritual gifts do not replace spiritual discipline.

Drawing from my testimony in Pamoja Turning Point, I share how the desire for acceptance, worldly pleasures, weakened boundaries, and concealed Christian identity gradually led me into spiritual drift.

I also reflect on witnessing powerful ministers fall into scandals that devastated their marriages, families, and ministries. Some never visibly returned to their former faith, while others repented and experienced God’s restoring mercy.

We name the compromises many believers are afraid to confront.

Pornography. Sex outside marriage. Infidelity. Drunkenness. Secret relationships. Destructive friendships. Entertainment that feeds ungodly desires. Pride. Gossip. Jealousy. Bitterness. Anger. Greed. And using God’s grace to excuse continued disobedience.

What are you watching when nobody is around?

    What conversations are you entertaining?

What happens when you go out with your friends?

What desires are you feeding throughout the week while asking God to crucify them on Sunday?

Through Romans 6–8, Galatians 5, James 1, and Joseph’s example of resisting temptation, we examine how believers can recognize compromise, establish boundaries, practice self-control, and walk in the power of the Holy Spirit.

The anointing upon your ministry must never become an excuse for the absence of discipline in your personal life.

    And remember:

Do not ask God to crucify what you are determined to keep feeding.

This conversation is a call to repentance, restoration, holiness, accountability, and victorious Christian living through Jesus Christ.

Your past failures do not have to determine your future.

Let your private life honor the God you proclaim in public.

  • THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION X WHEN GOD IS WORKING IN THE DARKNESS
    2026/10/13

THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION X

WHEN GOD IS WORKING IN THE DARKNESS The Longest Night Before the Miracle

What happens when you have prayed, fasted, believed God, and yet nothing seems to be changing?

There are nights that feel longer than others. Nights when fear battles faith, deadlines approach, medical reports remain uncertain, financial difficulties seem impossible, and God’s promises appear distant.

You believe God is faithful. But you are still human. You still feel fear. You still have questions. And sometimes, waiting becomes the greatest battle of all.

In this deeply personal and prophetically encouraging conversation of The Theology of the Unseen, we explore a powerful revelation:

The darkness that prevents you from seeing what God is doing does not prevent God from working!

Consider the Israelites standing before the Red Sea. Behind them was Pharaoh’s army. Before them was an impossible obstacle. They had received God’s promise of deliverance, but they did not know what the miracle would look like.

    Then came the night.

Exodus 14:21 reveals that God drove the sea back with a strong east wind throughout the night. While His people faced impossibility, God was making a road where no road had existed.

The miracle was unfolding in the darkness.

But waiting also carries spiritual dangers.

When Moses remained on Mount Sinai for forty days, Israel’s impatience led to the golden calf and devastating consequences. Saul’s impatience led to disobedience. Abraham and Sarah struggled with the years between promise and fulfillment.

What happens when we become so tired of waiting that we begin compromising our convictions?

Through the stories of Simeon recognizing the Messiah, Elijah praying for rain, Joseph enduring years of betrayal and imprisonment, and the disciples waiting for the fulfillment of Jesus’ promises, we discover that God’s faithfulness cannot be measured by our clocks.

Hebrews 11 reminds us that some heroes of faith died without witnessing the complete fulfillment of God’s promises, yet they died in faith.

I also share personal testimonies of waiting through a false accusation at work, financial hardship, approaching utility disconnection deadlines, and the continuing struggle between human fear and confidence in God’s promises.

Because faith does not mean your hands will never tremble.

Sometimes faith rises after the tears and declares:

“I do not know how God will do it. I do not know when He will do it. But I know the One in whose hands my life rests.”

    Habakkuk 2:3 reminds us:

“Though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come…”

This conversation is for anyone waiting for healing, vindication, provision, restoration, direction, or an answer that has not yet appeared.

Do not abandon your faith because the night is long. Do not build a golden calf because the answer seems delayed. Remain faithful, attentive to the Holy Spirit, and obedient to God’s Word.

The night may be long, but darkness has never limited the power of God.

  • THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION IX WHEN PRAYER ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH
    2026/10/10

THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — CONVERSATION IX

WHEN PRAYER ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH

Fasting, Spiritual Discipline, and the Posture to Stand in the Unseen

What happens when you have prayed, believed, declared the Word of God, and yet the battle remains?

In Mark 9, the disciples encountered an evil spirit they could not cast out. They had followed Jesus, witnessed miracles, and received authority over unclean spirits. Yet this time, they failed.

Their question was simple but profound:

“Why could not we cast him out?”

In this powerful ninth conversation of The Theology of the Unseen, Pamoja Ministry explores the spiritual disciplines that strengthen believers to stand firm in the face of unseen battles.

Spiritual authority is not a substitute for spiritual preparedness.

Throughout Scripture, fasting and prayer accompanied extraordinary moments of seeking God:

    • Esther fasted before confronting a threat against her people.
    • Jehoshaphat proclaimed a fast, and God delivered Judah from overwhelming enemies.
    • Daniel humbled himself through fasting and received divine understanding.
    • Nineveh fasted, repented, and experienced God’s mercy.
    • David fasted and demonstrated surrender even when the outcome was painful.
    • Jesus fasted forty days before beginning His public ministry.
    • The early Church fasted and prayed while seeking the Holy Spirit’s direction.

But fasting is more than abstaining from food.

Fasting quiets the demands of the flesh, deepens our dependence upon God, and helps cultivate a spiritual posture of consecration, vigilance, obedience, and steadfast faith.

In a deeply personal testimony, the host shares how fasting became part of his Christian journey from childhood, through years of ministry, and into seasons of intense personal and family battles—including twenty-one days of fasting and prayer during a time of adversity, false accusations, and uncertainty.

Through it all, one testimony remains:

God is faithful. Jesus still shows up. And the believer who learns to kneel before God learns how to stand in faith.

This conversation is not about replacing prayer with fasting or treating fasting as a formula for miracles. It is about rediscovering the biblical importance of prayer, fasting, holiness, submission, spiritual discipline, and a life continually surrendered to the Holy Spirit.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in the faith.” — 1 Peter 5:8–9

THE DEVIL WALKS. THE BELIEVER STANDS.

Don’t wait for the battle to become visible before preparing for the unseen.

  • THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — Conversation VII WHEN THE BATTLE REQUIRES YOUR PARTICIPATION
    2026/09/30

THE THEOLOGY OF THE UNSEEN — Conversation VII

WHEN THE BATTLE REQUIRES YOUR PARTICIPATION

What happens when discernment has done its work, the battle really is spiritual, and God allows you to recognize that your participation is required?

In Conversation VII of The Theology of the Unseen, Berry Mwamba explores a foundational truth of spiritual warfare: everything begins with posture.

The Christian should not wait for the battle to appear before becoming spiritually ready. Prayer, Scripture, fasting, sanctification, obedience, repentance, faith, discernment, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit are not emergency weapons. They are part of the believer’s normal spiritual life.

The Christian soldier does not live from battle to battle. He lives ready.

Drawing from Ephesians 6, this conversation looks beyond the armor of God as a simple list and explores it as a lifestyle: truth, righteousness, the gospel, faith, salvation, the Word of God, prayer, watchfulness, and perseverance forming the posture of a believer who is prepared to stand.

James 4:7 reveals another essential principle:

Submit to God. Resist the devil. And he will flee.

Spiritual authority does not begin with commanding what is beneath us. It begins with submitting ourselves to the One above us.

Berry also shares two deeply personal experiences from his family life.

In one, while his firstborn was still a baby, an unusual cry awakened him during the night. Berry discerned what he understood to be a spiritual presence in the home. He and his wife responded immediately in prayer, calling upon the authority of Jesus Christ until the atmosphere changed and their baby returned peacefully to sleep.

Years later, another experience occurred during one of the darkest periods of Berry’s marriage and spiritual life. After awakening from what he understood as a warning concerning one of his sons, Berry knew his family needed to pray—even though he also knew that he himself was spiritually out of position. The family gathered together and called upon Jesus.

That night revealed another side of this theology:

God’s mercy is greater than our positioning.

God can sovereignly intervene even when we are weak. But exceptional mercy should never become an excuse for spiritual negligence.

Mercy in an emergency is not permission to live unprepared.

The goal is not to wait for warfare to rebuild the altar.

The goal is for the altar to already be burning when the battle arrives.

This conversation is not an invitation to become fascinated with darkness. It is a call to become increasingly established in Christ—equipped, prayerful, discerning, submitted, watchful, and ready.

Because sometimes spiritual victory is not something spectacular falling in front of you.

Sometimes victory is realizing that after everything came against you…

you are still standing where God positioned you.

The battle belongs to God. The obedience belongs to us.
