LSU falls 35-34 to Kentucky in overtime after Kenneth Minchey's two-point conversion run. Sam Leavitt threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns, while Dilin Jones added 84 receiving yards. The Tigers improve to 4-2 but drop in SEC standings.

Key performances included CJ Baxter's 123 rushing yards and two touchdowns for Kentucky, and Brock Coffman's 55-yard punt return for LSU. Defensively, TJ Dottery recorded 12 tackles, but the unit struggled with leverage against Minchey and Baxter. Special teams provided a spark, but it wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.

Up next, LSU faces Mississippi State at home on October 17th. Hosts analyze Sam Leavitt's efficiency and the need for improved red-zone defense. Predictions suggest a bounce-back win for the Tigers against the Bulldogs.
