Today we're talking about something that I think almost everyone experiences at some point in life, but very few people talk about openly.
Being "Out to Lunch Mentally."
You know what I mean.
You're physically present, but mentally somewhere else.
You're sitting in a meeting, but your mind is replaying an argument.
You're having dinner with family, but you're worrying about tomorrow.
You're driving down the road and suddenly realize you don't remember the last five miles.
You're talking to someone you care about, but you're only half-listening because your mind is carrying the weight of a hundred different thoughts.
You look present.
But internally?
You're checked out.
Today, I want to explore what happens when our minds become overloaded, distracted, exhausted, or disconnected from the present moment.
Because if we're not careful, we can spend years physically showing up while mentally being absent from our own lives.
